Thanksgiving is a holiday started by the pioneers and settlers of our country along with our Native Americans. They took pause to join together and give thanks for what God had provided them. It took initiative and coordination to establish this tradition.
As the country slowly recovers from a recession and high unemployment, more and more people are seeking the basics of food, shelter and medical needs. We are fortunate to have jobs in today’s economy. It makes me proud to be part of GCS when I hear the stories of our associates taking the time, talents and treasures to help those less fortunate.
I’m especially proud of the generosity our associates display. The contributions our associates make within the community continue to be supportive and indicative of our mission statement. By giving back to the community, we help enhance the quality of life in our community. Thanks for giving.
